Well we finished our first official week in Hatsukaichi! Holy cow it has felt so long and yet it feels like it flew by at the same time.
One miracle is that we went to visit one of our investigators (and by one I mean, the only one. We got nobody!) Anyway, we just went to drop off a little present for their 6 year old son because it was his birthday. We were just expecting to drop by but she actually invited us in and we spent like a good hour there just having fun, getting to know her and building Lego police cars with her son. It was such a miracle and we really got to establish some kind of foundation with her since me and Carvalho shimai don`t know her. It was great!
On friday we had a interviews with our mission president in Hiroshima! Hiroshima is so amazing! I only got to see it from the tram ride there but it`s so beautiful! It looks like a fantastic city. I even got to pass by that Dome that is one of the last if not only buildings still standing after the Nuke hit Hiroshima. We`re deffinently coming back to this place!
Talking to President Gustufson was great. He is ending his mission this transfer so this was the last time we`d get to see him. He told me why he transferred me to this area. This are needs some serious help and so he called me and Carvalho to whip it into shape. I feel so honored and blessed that President and the Lord trusted us with this mission. I already love Hatsukaichi and am excited to see it grow!
Love you all! See you in 4!
P.S In the picture above the mission conference was at the Hiroshima Church which is actually the old mission home for the old Hiroshima Mission! They dissolved the Hiroshima mission into the Fukuoka mission some few years ago. How cool is that! I`ve been apart of two missions!
