Gosh its been an amazing week!
Im officially done with my first transfer! Ah! Crazy! Its been a rollercoaster but it was awesome! I have so many mosquito bites from this past transfer though. My legs seriously look like I have some wierd form of chicken pox. Its fine ... ;)
So at the beginning of this week I really made it a goal for myself to recognize the spirit more. I studied up and made it a goal for myself that whenever I feel even the smallest prompting that i just act on it. So God definitly put me to the test. One day as we were heading out, i felt like i should make copies of this awesome liahona talk i read that morning. i didnt know why but i just did. that night with our lesson with our investigator, that talk was the perfect topic to give her and she even texted us and said that talk helped her so much!
Then a few nights a go,around like 8 30 pm, me and Nelson shimai decided to head home so we could surprise sister davidson, because she passed off her lesson masters, which takes like half your mission to pass off, so we planned like a little party for her. anyway as we were biking threw all these neighborhoods, i just started remembering stories my return missionary friends would tell about a time on their missions when they were going to head home early, but decided to stay out and saw miracles. And just this feeling come over me. We should knock on some houses in this neighborhood. I knew it wasnt just in my head, because I was tired and dirty and ready to go home but I couldnt help it. I stopped sister nelson and said Hey, I think we should knock on some houses around here for like 10 min. Our 3rd house we knocked on, we ended up talking to a mother and a daughter about the gopsel for like 25 min. They had heard about the church because they had friends who were mormon! It was such an amazing expeirence and I knew we were meant to meet them that night. gosh I love this work! Till next week
