Wow history has been made people! I have finally gone to the Hiroshimai Bomb Museum! That has been on my bucket list for a while. Wow, It was truly as horrible and scaring as people say. I can`t believe human beings actually did that to other human beings. Literally seeing how on Aug. 8, 1945 at 8:15 am, literally within seconds, this thriving city turned into fiery furnace. As I walked through the museum, I just felt an overwhelming amount of gratitude for my Heavenly Father for allowing me to come to this earth at this time. We live in such a blessed time. Yes there is trouble and still plenty of turmoil to come, but the fact that I an American, have the freedom to live in this beautiful country to represent the Lord Jesus Christ is such a blessing. I am so blessed. So thankful.
We had a lesson with the Sakai`s yesterday. We taught the on the spirit and how to get answers to prayer through the Book of Mormon. We read 3 Ne 11:2-7 and discussed why the Nephites couldn`t hear the voice of the Lord until the 3rd time. In the scriptures it says that they did open their hearts and did face the sound of the voice. So we did an activity. We had them right down all the things that they did know about this church. Things that they believed. They believe in the Book of Mormon, Priesthood, Christ, God etc.. And then we had them list things they still struggled with like Joseph Smith, if this is the only true church. We did an activity where we placed the papers on the opposite side of the room. We told them to focus only on their concerns, doubt and things they didn't know, all while trying to find a picture of Christ in the Room. They could only look at that paper. As expected. It was super hard and they couldn't find it. Then we had them face what they did know, which the picture of Christ was clear and visible and they easily found it. We explained that we don`t always hear the voice of the spirit right away. We might have doubts and concerns. But if we focus on the things we already know; things that the spirit has already taught us, we can be able to find the truth.
I know that is a true principal. We`re not going to have all the answers in this life, but I promise that as we have faith, and face what we do know, the Lord will show us the way. I promise that :D
Love you all! Have a great week!
