Firstly......MY LITTLE SISTER GOT HER CALL TO THE RUSSIA, VLADIVOSTOK MISSION!!!! I`m so excited for her!!! AGH! My family is crazy. We really are an international family. My Samoan dad and British mom, who serve their missions in Guam/Marshall Islands (dad) and the Philippines(mom) had 6 kids where some, went on their missions to Brazil, Texas, Japan and now Russian! It`s nuts! We like it though ;D This week was awesome! We spent so much time finding people to teach and it paid off! We found this one lady right outside our apartment who has a ton of questions about religion. We talked to her for about an hour. After that we had 2 other lessons with her where we taught the Restoration. She`s like a Silver Investigator! haha we don't quite consider her golden just yet, but she`s great! She has a desire to learn about religion, but as far as FEELING that the message is true, I think that might be difficult for her. We watched the Restoration video, and me and Babcock shimai felt the spirit super strong as the video outlined the truth about Joseph Smith and the Church. After we asked her if she felt anything. She said `No. Not really` :( She said that she`s not really a person to be moved or touched by things. Crap. You kind of got to feel the spirit in order to know the message is true. Haha but no worries. We`re super excited to see her progress! Last P-day, a member took us out for P-day and we went like all over the place! He took us to an archaeology museum and to this awesome spot right by the beach, it was the bomb! In other news, I went to the dentist last week! Haha oh man, it was something. They like numbed me up and what not. After we went out and talked to people, and I don`t know if you`ve ever tried speaking Japanese while your face is all numb and puffy, but it was pretty ridiculous. I sounded weird enough trying to speak this language. So just add that on top of everything and you have Sister Stevenson. haha it was a good laugh though! Oh mission memories. Haha I really do love my mission though. It is so sweet! I love this gospel. I wish everyone could just have it and never let it go. I guess that`s God`s desire too. That`s what I`m here for! ;D 復員はしんじつですよ!!!!! Love you all! |

power of my Spirit, preaching
my gospel, two by two, in my name, lifting up your voices as with the sound of a
