This week has been pretty awesome!
We went to the beach near Fukuoka Tower! It was so much fun! Our whole zone went for P-day, and we just chilled, played volleyball and played the ukulele. It was SO much fun. I loved it :D
It was actually somewhat of an adventure getting to the beach. Me and Davidson shimai got lost in Fukuoka city. The whole rest of the zone was at the beach and we were in the city, trying to read bus stops in Kanji. We actually saw a few miracles. One lady stopped us on the street. She was a member and pointed us in the right direction. Then we got lost again. Then this other lady actually walked with us all the way to the right bus stop. And we just saw little miracles like that eventually leading to the beach. The Lord takes care of his missionaries, I can tell you that. Even the ones with no sense of direction ;D
Yesterday, we were having dinner with a member family and I actually gave the whole spiritual message by myself! :D It was awesome! I shared Luke 22: 31-32. In my simple Japanese I explained how Satan really does desire each and every one of us. No one is an exception to that. He wants to drag all of us down. But like it says in verse 32,
(31) “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat.”
(32) “But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen they brethren”
Christ is on our side. In his strength we can do all things. We need to rely on him. We need to trust in his power and his timing and his blessings. And when we do that, we strengthen our brethren. I heard this great quote in the MTC
`God comforts us, not to make us comfortable, but to make us comforters`
I know that this gospel is true, and because I know that, I`m out here strengthening my brethren. I love this work! It is of God. In the name of Jesus Christ amen
