Well this week has been pretty crazy! I got my transfer call to Kurume, up kind of near Fukuoka city. This place is super homie! It actually has a big river running through it just like Miyazaki so it makes me feel more at home. Anyway me and Cullison spent most of our time packing, cleaning the apartment and throwing out useless junk. I had to throw these shoes out cuz I had no room, but I wanted to keep them as a souvenir. They`re so ripped up. :) We also had to give all our food to the elders, so you can bet they were super happy about that ;) This is Cullison shimai went on her way back to America. She was a way fun companion! I loved her! |
(Left picture) This is my favorite Indian curry shop. Me and the shop owners are tight. This is us saying goodbye!

My new comp is Taufaga Shimai. She is way cool! She`s actually the first Fijian to get her call to Japan. Oh ya, I bet your comp was that cool ;) Kurume has only sisters. It`s super cold! Gosh! I thought Miyazaki was getting nippy. They great thing about the Kurume area is that it`s in the Nagasaki Zone, so I got to go to Nagasaki last week for interviews with the president Gustufson.(I was lame and didn`t take pictures sorry) Nagasaki wasn`t as big as I thought it was, but then again, I only saw it from the street tram windows. I definitely want to come back though. The second awesome thing about the Kurume area is that it`s apart of the Fukuoka Stake, which means I get to see the Chikushino ward(my first area) at Stake conference!!! It`s this weekend! I`m so excited!!!!! :D This area has a lot of potential! I can`t wait to start this new phase in my adventure. I truly love this church. I love that the truth brings the best people from every part of the world together. I love my God and testify of him and his son. It is him whom we worship and it him who I represent. I love it Love ya! See you in 8 |
